The modern-day Fantomas played by French actor Jean Marais still has quite a following. Contrary to many other spy movies of the sixties, Fantomas is both the main character and the bad guy. The movies also feature funny man Louis de Funès and the lovely Mylène Demongeot.
Why am I telling you this? Well, Jean Marais also sang songs by novelist Jean Cocteau, with whom he had a very long relationship. Some of these songs have been added to Radio Oh la la. You can also play spot the Fantomas theme song, which is used in one of the web radio’s jingles.
